Why We Chose Weehawken (The Estuary Reserve)
Pros:
Easy access to Manhattan Midtown — just one bus stop away (10–15 minutes).
Kindergarten nearby (Bright Horizons at Lincoln Harbor).
Whole Foods supermarket close by.
Amazing view of the Manhattan skyline.
Cons:
Public kindergarten is about a 10–15 minute drive away.
The last ferry to or from Lincoln Harbor departs around 9:30 p.m. (Port Imperial is better — the last ferry runs until around 12:00–12:30 a.m.).
Driving to Manhattan requires a $15 toll fee.
